AAITF Thailand seized 1,850 grammes of cocaine at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and extended the case to arrest a man behind.
On 28 October 2017, AAITF Thailand comprising the ONCB Narcotics Law Enforce ment Unit, Narcotics Suppression Bureau, Royal Thai Customs, Security Service, Immigration Police and Tourist Police at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport arrested Miss Nussara Chumklom, a Thai female and Mr. David Afram, a Ghana national, with 1,850 grammes of cocaine hidden in a bag pack. This was an extended case after the arrest of Miss Nussara Chumklom on 27 October 2017 at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport when she arrived from Dubai which led to the arrest of Mr. David Afram who hired Miss Nussara Chumklom to smuggle the drug into Thailand on 28 October 2017 at a place opposite to Homepro, Sukhapiban 3, Ramkhamhaeng Road. The AAITF Thailand team brought him to his house for further search but no illegal drug was found. Both offenders were sent to the police for further interrogation and proceeding.
