ONCB organized the Internship program on Airport Interdiction Task Force (AITF) at Suvarnabhumi Airport for Brunei Officers

              On 19-23 January 2017, ONCB organized the Internship Program on Airport Interdiction Task Force (AITF) at Suvarnabhumi Airport to 2 officers from Narcotics Control Bureau (BKN) of Brunei Darussalam to improve knowledge and experience for law enforcement officers.

              The internship program include review of drug situation and background of AITF, study visit at Suvarnabhumi Airport, technics of target finding and investigation and practice. Also, cooperation with Royal Thai Customs, Suvarnabhumi Airport organize the study visit and lecture regarding performing an effective search at airport, X-ray image interpretation and control delivery from airport.

ASEAN-NARCO

The ASEAN Narcotics Cooperation Centre (ASEAN-NARCO) was officially launched in Bangkok this week to further drive regional efforts in pursuing ASEAN Drug Free 2015. To act as a coordinating platform for ASEAN Member States in working together on drug related cases, ASEAN NARCO is now focusing on drug law enforcement and expected to cover other areas of drug control in the future.
