Arrest of the Napali and Myanma Syndicate

                On June 25, 2016 at 09.00 hrs. AAITF task force (Thailand) arrested a Myanmar male, with crystalized methamphetamine (ICE) weighed 7,300 grams concealed inside a luggage at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The offender arrived Bangkok via Myanmar National Airways flight UB 019 from Yangon. After the arrest, the task force extended the investigation and arrested an accomplice, a Myanmar female, at a bus stop in front of a shopping arcade in downtown Bangkok. From the interrogation with offenders, the arrest team found out that they were paid by a Nepali male who would come from Tachileik, Myanmar and fly from Chiang Rai to Bangkok to pick up the drug by himself. Therefore, the arrest team continued with the investigation. Later on June 26, 2016 at 21.50 hrs., the arrest team arrested the suspected Nepali while picking up the drug in front of a convenience store in Bangkok.
