The Public Awareness on the danger of drug on 3rd April 2016 in Koh Kong Province



                 National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) held the Public Awareness on the danger of drug in Back Klong Commune, Mondolseyma District, Koh Kong Province on 3rd April 2016 at 15:00 hrs. This event showed the cooperation in drug abuse prevention campaign between Thailand and Cambodia. H.E. Phethoun Phlamkesan, Vice Governor of Koh Kong Province, delivered welcoming remarks to Mr. Thongchai Chaiprom, Director of Narcotics Control Office Region 2, and he delivered reply speech, and H.E. Kao Khondara, Vice-Chairman of NACD gave drug control guidelines of Koh Kong Province to Koh Kong agencies concerned. Besides, Mr. Thongchai, on behalf of the ONCB, handed over drug abuse prevention brochures and CDs to NACD.

ASEAN-NARCO

The ASEAN Narcotics Cooperation Centre (ASEAN-NARCO) was officially launched in Bangkok this week to further drive regional efforts in pursuing ASEAN Drug Free 2015. To act as a coordinating platform for ASEAN Member States in working together on drug related cases, ASEAN NARCO is now focusing on drug law enforcement and expected to cover other areas of drug control in the future.
