ONCB organised a Training Course on West African Syndicates Suppression for Thailand-Cambodia.

                     On 19 December 2016, Mr. Sithisak Kalayanapradit, Advisor to ONCB presided over the opening ceremony of the Training Course on West African Syndicates Suppression (Thailand-Cambodia) organised during 19 - 25 December 2016 at the Palazzo Hotel in Bangkok. The purposes of this training are to enhance the skills of narcotic officers in searching bodies, vehicles, and places as well as to increase the efficiency in investigation, interdiction, and suppression of Thailand-Cambodia drug traffickers and syndicates. The training focuses on West African syndicates. There are 20 participants from Cambodia and 4 participants from ONCB Region 2 and Narcotics Law Enforcement Bureau attending this training.

ASEAN-NARCO

The ASEAN Narcotics Cooperation Centre (ASEAN-NARCO) was officially launched in Bangkok this week to further drive regional efforts in pursuing ASEAN Drug Free 2015. To act as a coordinating platform for ASEAN Member States in working together on drug related cases, ASEAN NARCO is now focusing on drug law enforcement and expected to cover other areas of drug control in the future.
