ONCB had a Site Visit for the Construction of Cambodian National Rehabilitation Centre

            On 13 December 2017 Secretary-General, the Narcotics Control Board together with Deputy Sec-Gen, NCB and ONCB executives and Representatives from Department of Medical Services including Dr.Paskorn Chaivanichsiri, Deputy Director General and representaives from the Royal Thai Embassy, Phnom Penh had a field trip visit to attend a briefing on and observe the construction site of the National Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Centre at Sihanoukville Province, Cambodia , 4 buildings of which have been funded by the Royal Thai Government at the value of THB 38,011,400 in total. On this occasion, Pol.Gen. Meas Vyrith, Sec-Gen, NACD kindly led the site visit. Pol.Lt.Gen. Thong Sokunthea Dep Sec-Gen, NACD informed that the total area of the centre is 20 hectares. Currently in Phase 1 the construction by Beijing Construcyion Ltd. is covering 10 hectares. Phase 1 is expected to complete by 2018.

            On Friday 15 December 2017 the NACD will host the Handover Ceremony of Thailand's assistance for the Thailand-Cambodia Project on Enhancing and Strengthening Treatment and Rehabilitation Cooperation at a conference room of the Ministry of Interior, Phanom Penh, Cambodia. On this auspicious event, H.E. Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong will preside over the ceremony to handover the assistance of THB 38,011,400 to the NACD for the said Centre Construction.
